ABOUT MESO
Meso Lee is an Ohio native artist who specializes in realism using media such as colored pencil, watercolor and oil paint. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she would find endless inspiration. During her education in Chicago, Meso was introduced to countless resources such as the Field Museum, the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Garfield Park Conservatory and of course, the Art Institute itself. Surrounded by the pure beauty of nature and its specimens, she could not help but make them the prime subjects of her work. Currently residing back in her home state, Meso combined her love for animals with her art by working directly with them, which she hopes to portray their remarkable characteristics through her work.
